A CloudFormation extension that automatically deploys the same stack across multiple accounts and regions in an organization from a single operation. With the SERVICE_MANAGED permission model, AWS Organizations manages the required roles without manual per-account setup.
In SAP-C02 it's the standard tool for deploying guardrails or baseline infrastructure (e.g. AWS Config rules, security roles) across all accounts in a multi-account organization. It differs from a regular stack, which only deploys to one account/region.
