Hybrid cloud

Definition

A combination of public and private cloud (or on-premises infrastructure) with connectivity between them. It allows workloads to move around based on cost, security, or performance needs.

Exam context

In AZ-900, Azure Arc and Azure Stack are examples of hybrid solutions. In CLF-C02, AWS Outposts and AWS Direct Connect enable hybrid scenarios. A frequent question: when to choose hybrid over public-only.
